La OPPAO participa en este proyecto, que permitirá y apoyará el desarrollo de un sistema innovador para la mejora de la eficiencia de los motores diésel marinos como los empleados en buques pesqueros.

El motor diésel empleado para la propulsión del buque podrá generar a su vez energía eléctrica aprovechando las pérdidas en calor (aprovechamiento de los calores residuales) en su propio uso. Para ello, se aplicará la tecnologia Organic Ranking Cycle para reducir el consumo en motores marinos.
